UAC 2008 Silent Auction: Your Track to Treasure

Donations Now Being Accepted Announcing the first UAC Silent Auction, Your Track to Treasure, scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Sheraton-Adams Mark Hotel in downtown Denver, Colorado. Proceeds will benefit the scholarship programs of the four sponsoring organizations: AFAN, CVA, ISAR, and NCGR.

Donations of all kinds are being sought. You may have something that you no longer want, but that someone else would treasure. Be imaginative! We all love the astrological, but interesting, fun, and funky stuff also brings top dollar.

Some of Our Categories:

U - Universal (Books), Uranian, Unique, Unusual, Undeniably Fabulous!
A - Art, Apparel, Accessories & Jewelry, Antiques, Astrological, Autographs, and Anything Absolutely Over The Top!
C - Consultations, Classes, Conferences, Computer Software, CD’s, and Cash!

This is a win-win-win situation: for those who give, for those who buy and for those who receive much appreciated help with their astrological education.

We are also seeking volunteers! If you can’t donate, become part of the UAC Silent Auction Team! We are in need of the following types of volunteers:

• Pre-Auction Volunteers: Prepare bid sheets, organize donations for set up, place auction signs, etc., on the days prior to the auction.



• Set Up Volunteers: Place auction items attractively on tables along with bid sheets and pencils on the afternoon preceding the auction.



• Silent Auction Watchers: Those who mill around during the auction; help bidders with their questions, refresh bid sheets, provide a watchful eye.



• Checkout Volunteers: Those who gather items at auction end to expedite checkout.



• After Auction Volunteers
